The suggester says of Facing death by *CharleySmink, "This artist's application of alt-processes shows an understanding of how an image's development can set a tone just as well as the content and the image itself". ( Suggested by `tiganusi and Featured by `RockstarVanity )

This is very alluring and haunting. The expression on his face, the way his body is scrunched up in the coffin, the way his eyes are, and how he's gripping the blanket really draws you in and makes you wonder if he's staring at something or if he's thinking about past mistakes or if he's terrified of dying.
The color scheme totally works for this picture as well. It's is another thing that draws me to the picture. It reminds me of a gothic style take on a funeral. The only thing I don't like about the picture is the lighting around his foot area. Other then that though, this is picture is very well done.

Very interesting and quite unusual. I love the expression, despite what others have said about it. They don't understand what exactly you were going for, but I and plenty others, do. This reminds me much of a memento mori, or reminder of mortality. This piece says all that and possibly even a bit more. With the model being naked it gives me the impression of weakness, but also of how we enter the world. The position also adds to the idea of weakness, and plays upon every single person's fear of death. The eyeshine is also pretty neat, as well as the aged look to the photograph. I would've liked to see a bit more of a background to this, it's not easily seen and it is even a bit confusing...I'm not sure where this is at or even what it is?
On the other hand, I'd love to know where you got a coffin like that, it's quite nice.
